Toss West Indies chose to field v Australia
Darren Sammy won the toss and sent Australia in to bat in the fifth and
final ODI in Melbourne. West Indies, who must win to avoid a 5-0 defeat,
made one change from the team that lost in Sydney on Friday, bringing
the fast bowler Kemar Roach back in to the side at the expense of Andre
Russell.
Chris Gayle was again ruled out due to the side injury that kept him out
of the Sydney match. Australia's line-up also depended on a fitness
test and George Bailey (hamstring) was also ruled out, joining the
injured Michael Clarke on the sidelines. That meant Shaun Marsh returned
for his first one-day international since October 2011.
Australia also made two further changes after Glenn Maxwell and Matthew
Wade flew out on Saturday to join the Test squad in India. Brad Haddin
and Xavier Doherty were included, leaving the uncapped fast bowler
Nathan Coulter-Nile still waiting for his debut.
Australia 1 Shane Watson (capt), 2 Aaron Finch, 3 Phillip Hughes,
